Cole Palmer and his girlfriend Connie Grace have fueled speculation of a breakup after unfollowing each other on Instagram, shortly after Chelsea’s dominant 3–0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.
The couple, both 23, appeared to part ways online following Palmer’s standout performance in the final, where he scored twice and assisted Joao Pedro’s goal. Grace had traveled to the United States for the tournament, posting photos from Miami, but was not seen at any of the matches or involved in post-game celebrations.
Adding to the rumours, Palmer’s social media interactions with Grace have reportedly disappeared, including likes on her recent posts. The two had been together since their teenage years in Manchester and made their relationship public at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in November.
Grace owns a beauty salon in Stockport, while Palmer is currently taking a short holiday in St. Kitts and Nevis, where his paternal grandfather was born, ahead of Chelsea’s pre-season.
Palmer and the Blues will begin their preparations with friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen on August 8 and AC Milan on August 10. Their Premier League campaign kicks off at Stamford Bridge against Crystal Palace on August 17.
