Brighton-owned midfielder Facundo Buonanotte is set to move clubs within the Premier League, with the Argentine cutting short his loan spell at Chelsea to secure a new temporary move.
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United have reached a verbal agreement to sign Buonanotte, with the deal now entering its final legal stages.
“Leeds United have reached a verbal agreement to sign Facundo Buonanotte!” Romano reported.
Due to the complexities surrounding loan agreements, the move will be completed in multiple steps. Chelsea will first terminate Buonanotte’s loan from Brighton, after which the midfielder will formally return to the Seagulls before immediately joining Leeds United on loan until the end of the season.
