Nicolas Jackson Set for Chelsea Exit as Multiple Clubs Monitor Transfer Situation
Nicolas Jackson will almost certainly not be at Chelsea next season, and it is becoming increasingly unlikely that Bayern Munich will sign him on a permanent deal. It has now been reported that the striker cannot mathematically trigger Bayernโs purchase obligation, and at present, there is no ongoing negotiation to restructure the agreement.
This does not mean Chelsea will struggle to move Jackson on in the summer. In fact, the opposite seems true.

Other clubs monitoring Jacksonโs availability
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that several clubs are already watching the situation closely. Speaking on Market Madness, Romano noted:
โNico Jackson is ready to fight till the end to stay at Bayern. Heโs very happy there, but eventually if itโs not going to be Bayern next season, Iโm told that there are already several clubs attentive to the situation because Jackson will be on the market and heโs not going to stay at Chelsea.โ
While some Chelsea fans would not object to the striker returning to Stamford Bridge, the reality is that there is no pathway back into Enzo Marescaโs plans.
Why Jackson has no future at Chelsea

Chelseaโs squad for next season already looks stacked with centre-forward options: Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Marc Guiu, and soon-to-arrive Emanuel Emegha. The announcement of Emeghaโs move to Chelsea caused uproar at Strasbourg, but the Dutchman remains focusedโrecently scoring in a 2-1 Conference League win over Crystal Palace.
Importantly, Maresca plans to integrate Emegha directly into the first-team squad next season, leaving no squad space or development role for Jackson.
Even though Jackson has outscored Delap this seasonโfive goals to oneโthe competition, system fit, and long-term planning make his departure inevitable.
The conclusion
Whether Bayern renegotiate or another interested club steps up, Nicolas Jackson will leave Chelsea this summer. The club is moving forward with a new frontline strategy, and the Senegalese striker simply has no place in the squad moving into the 2025/26 campaign.
