Jermain Defoe Names Claude Makelele as Toughest Opponent at Chelsea

That team.” While many fans remember Terry or Lampard as the key figures in Jose Mourinho’s first Chelsea side, Makelele’s influence on the pitch often went underappreciated, frustrating opponents and inspiring his teammates.
