Details: Today it was revealed that Isago Silva, the 17-year-old son of former Chelsea captain Thiago Silva, has signed his first professional contract with the Blues.

Isago Silva is a product of Chelsea’s youth academy, making this achievement even more remarkable. Previously, Isago Silva played for Chelsea U18, where he managed to make an appearance last season.

Thiago Silva played for Chelsea from 2020 to 2024, making 155 appearances for the Blues in which he scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists. Currently, Thiago Silva plays for Brazilian side Fluminense, with a contract running until the summer of 2026.

The sons of Thiago Silva are clearly on track to follow in their father’s footsteps. Last October, Iago Silva, 14, was called up for the England U15 team. Now, it’s his older brother Isago, 17, who has made headlines by signing his first professional contract with Chelsea.
