FIFA Club World Cup Final to Feature Star-Studded Half-Time Show at MetLife
Global Music Stars to Headline First-Ever Club World Cup Halftime Spectacle
FIFA and Global Citizen have unveiled a groundbreaking entertainment partnership that will see international music superstars Tems (Nigeria), J Balvin (Colombia), and Doja Cat (US) perform at the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 13, 2025, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
A Landmark Moment for Football and Music
The 15-minute performance—broadcast live and free worldwide via DAZN.com—marks the first time FIFA has staged a major halftime show for a club competition, following the model of the NFL’s iconic Super Bowl spectacles.
“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment, to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children,” said Tems, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter.
Tournament of Historic Proportions
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup represents a seismic shift for global club football:
- 32 elite teams (expanded from 7)
- Matches across 11 U.S. cities
- First official FIFA club world champion to be crowned
- Expected to become most-watched club competition ever
Philanthropic Mission: Education Through Football
The halftime show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to provide children worldwide with access to quality education and football programs.
Key initiatives:
- $1 from every U.S. match ticket donated to the fund
- Builds on Global Citizen’s decade-long education advocacy
- Aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals
“To end extreme poverty, we need to ensure every child has access to quality education. We’re asking football fans everywhere to step up,” said Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans.
Artists With a Purpose
The three headliners bring both star power and social activism:
