Estevão Willian Sends Message to Chelsea Fans After Scoring Brace for Brazil
Estevão Willian just can’t stop making headlines. Less than a week after his dramatic last-minute winner against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, the 18-year-old wonderkid has now done it again on the international stage — scoring twice in Brazil’s 5–0 demolition of South Korea on Friday.
The Chelsea sensation grabbed a goal in each half as Rodrygo also struck twice and Vinícius Júnior added another, capping off a dominant performance from the Seleção.
It’s been a dream start to the season for Estevão — and the teenager took a moment after the game to send a heartfelt message to Chelsea fans.
“I Want to Make Them Proud” — Estevão’s Message to the Chelsea Faithful
Speaking after Brazil’s victory, Estevão spoke about the incredible support he’s received from the Stamford Bridge crowd since arriving in London.
“It’s incredible,” he told The Standard. “In the last game, when I was warming up, you could feel that people expect something from me — I’m very happy about that.
I try to repay it on the field and make them proud. I can see how much they value me and want me there. My feeling is that I can’t let them down — I want to help and make them proud.”
Estevão also opened up about how quickly he’s adapting to life in English football under Enzo Maresca, despite being one of the youngest players in the Premier League.
“On the pitch, things are going well. I’m adapting faster than I expected to the Premier League, to Maresca’s style, and to European football.
I’m not 100% adapted yet, but definitely more than I imagined. I’m happy to be playing for a big club in Europe.”
Chelsea’s Brazilian Connection Growing Stronger
Chelsea’s Brazilian contingent is quickly becoming one of the club’s most exciting features. Alongside Estevão, both João Pedro and Andrey Santos have made promising starts to the campaign.
Pedro has hit form with two goals and three assists in his first seven league games, building on the momentum of his three goals in three matches at the Club World Cup earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Santos has shown flashes of real quality whenever called upon and is expected to play an increasingly important role as the season progresses.
With the trio already delivering, Stamford Bridge has a distinctly Brazilian flair about it this season — and fans are loving every minute of it.
The Start of Something Special
At just 18, Estevão Willian is already establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s brightest stars and a player destined for the very top.
He’s living up to his billing as the best Brazilian talent since Neymar, and with his humility, drive, and connection to the fans, Chelsea supporters are watching the rise of something truly special.
And if this start is anything to go by, the Estevão era at Stamford Bridge has only just begun.
