Crystal Palace Confirm Loan Signing of Chelsea Midfielder Lola Brown

Crystal Palace have completed the season-long loan signing of highly-rated young midfielder Lola Brown from Chelsea.

The 17-year-old joined Chelsea’s academy during the 2019/2020 season and has since progressed to the fringes of the first team. She signed her first professional contract with the club in November and featured in a handful of matches during the 2024/25 campaign.

At international level, Brown has represented England up to Under-19 level, further highlighting her potential.

Seen as a long-term prospect for Chelsea, Brown will now continue her development with Crystal Palace, where regular senior minutes are expected to accelerate her progress.

“We are delighted to welcome Lola to Crystal Palace,” said Palace manager Jo Potter. “She is an exciting young player who brings fantastic energy to our squad. We’re looking forward to helping her continue her development this season.”

Brown becomes Palace’s second signing of the summer, with more additions expected before the Barclays Women’s Championship season kicks off in September.
