Chelsea are on the verge of securing a new multi-year sleeve sponsorship deal ahead of next season, according to fresh reports — a move that would bring some much-needed stability to the club’s commercial setup.
FTP Deal Ending Soon
Back in October, the Blues announced Vietnam-based tech company FTP as the club’s sleeve sponsor.
But with that agreement only running until the end of the current season, the club has been actively exploring longer-term options.
BBC Sport now reports that Chelsea are in the final stages of negotiations with a new partner, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks. While the identity of the company has not been revealed yet, the key detail is that the deal will run beyond one season, unlike the recent short-term partnerships with FTP and Damac.
Front-of-Shirt Talks Also Progressing
Chelsea are also advancing discussions for a front-of-shirt sponsor, though that agreement is said to be further away from completion.
The club reportedly values the front-of-shirt space at £65 million per season, reflecting Chelsea’s global commercial strength and the Premier League’s massive visibility.
Rumours recently circulated that Deel, Arsenal’s new sleeve sponsor, had been close to signing with Chelsea before switching to the Gunners — but BBC Sport strongly refutes this. According to the report, Deel were never close to a deal with Chelsea and were actually priced out after learning the cost of securing the club’s primary shirt real estate.
What’s Next for Chelsea’s Kit?
Chelsea’s last front-of-shirt sponsor was Dubai-based Damac, who took over for only the final seven games of last season. With the club pushing for bigger, more stable partnerships, fans can expect further announcements soon as the board aims to strengthen the club’s commercial backbone.
